In 1995 I participated in the 1st Annual Wheelchair Sports Camp in South Africa.

I participated in Wheelchair Basketball, Wheelchair Tennis, Wheelchair Aerobics and Archery.

I was fortunate to meet Madiba and Jon Bon Jovi that attended the same camp.

In 1996 I again took part in the 2nd Annual Wheelchair Sports Camp, this time as a couch for Wheelchair Basketball and Wheelchair Tennis.

I do believe more such initiatives are needed to expose children with disabilities in South Africa to the various sports for people with disabilities.
